
In Home Supports

W.I.L.L provides personalised, in-home supports designed to build independence, increase functional capacity, and strengthen family routines. All supports are delivered 1:1, using a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming approach.
1. Daily Living Skills Development
We support children and teens to build practical independence in:

Morning and afternoon routines

Personal care and hygiene support (capacity-building, not clinical care)

Meal preparation and basic cooking

Household skills (cleaning, organising, laundry)

Time management and planning skills
2. Emotional & Behaviour Support (BSP Implementation)
Our trained staff provide:

Consistent implementation of Behaviour Support Plans

Co-regulation and emotional regulation support

Support through transitions, anxiety, and overwhelm

Safe responses to dysregulation, using low-arousal approaches

Communication skill-building (verbal, AAC, alternative communication)
3. Parent Coaching & Family Support
We work collaboratively with families by offering:

Parent coaching to improve routines, boundaries, and communication

Support to understand behaviour through a neurodiversity framework

Strategies to reduce stress within the home

Guidance to create predictable, supportive environments
4. Skill-Building for Independence
We help young people strengthen skills needed for long-term independence:

Decision-making and problem-solving

Community readiness skills

Money skills and basic budgeting

Goal setting and self-advocacy

Executive functioning (organisation, planning, sequencing tasks)
5. Safe Community Access from Home
Supports may begin in the home and extend into safe community engagement, such as:

Grocery shopping

Exercise or recreation

Appointments

Social skill-building activities

Community confidence-building at the participant’s pace
6. Home-Based Support & Skill Development
Our in-home sessions incorporate evidence-informed and creative activities such as:

Art-based regulation activities

Mindfulness and grounding practices

Sensory regulation activities
-
Gardening or caring for pets (where appropriate)

Hobby and interest exploration
7. NDIS-Aligned Documentation & Collaboration
We communicate with your allied health team and provide:

Regular updates to therapists, support coordinators, and schools (with consent)
